Greetings

We have space available for RV, van or tent campers at 7,600 feet elevation in the
mountains of western New Mexico. There is no traffic noise and no city lights at night,
only the Milky Way and a billion stars all around. Rabbits, hawks, elk, antelope, deer and
ground squirrels will be your most abundant neighbors here near the Continental Divide.

Summer high temperatures average between 70 and 85 degrees. Nights are cool with
temperatures in the 50's. The terrain is gently sloping with grassland, juniper and pinion
pine. There is much public land in all directions with unlimited miles of hiking on mostly
deserted trails. There are many inspiring vistas of nearby nine and ten thousand foot
peaks.

The fee is $50 per week for tents or vans and $60 per week for an RV. Included is a daily
hot mineral water soak, up to 100 gallons of water weekly and one pump out weekly of up to
50 gallons total for RV's. There is a toilet and an outdoor hot shower.

This site is for people who really want to get away from it all. The nearest Post Office,
part time restaurants, and groceries are 15 miles away while fuel, hardware, and auto
service are 37 miles away. Cell phones and data cards work at very limited locations;
service is not guaranteed by cell providers. We live on solar power, including the well.
New Mexico is blessed with an exceptional linked repeater system if you're a HAM Radio
Operator. We can talk all over the state and into Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Kansas,
Oklahoma, and Texas.

The area is rich in Native American as well as geological history. Many Anazasi and Acoma
pottery shards have been found, along with grinding slicks, an ancient "Alley Oop" axe
head, and petrified wood. Nearby are pictographs, petroglyphs, and sacred Native American
sites. About half a mile away, a fossilized thigh bone was unearthed. The axe head and the
fossil are available for viewing.

Please contact us for photos or further information.

Sincerely,
Camilla Van Sickle
