I tried moving once... it was greasy. The chinese ping.pong that I
usenet posted was Not made in Taiwan as I removed her dress. Thus
changing my intestines and this group is akin to Ace Ventura belonging
to Mensa. Have apple sauce.

Yes. Something called "ping.pong" may in fact be more appropriate, but,
please also consider merging with "alt.surrealism" if you must move. It is in that
group that many of the postings to this group would more properly fit, because:
Non sequiturs are only non sequiturs in context of summin' ELSE.
This group is ALL "else". There is no context from which to divert,
nothing out of which to leap--like a jack-in-the-box--to surprise. "Expectation"
plays a major part in the achievement of non sequiturs. This group, thus, IMHO,
does not achieve its intended purpose.
This group, quite attractively at times, achieves instead, "high nonsense",
for lack of a better term. Please understand I do NOT say that to disparage, but
to define! (I'm not, I spoze, a "regular member" of this group. I only check in,
lurk, now & then, to enjoy myself, and at that, I do suceed. But, I have been
thinking about posting these musings, these potential refinements/definitions for a
while now--so-- HERE I ALL IS! :>)
Much of the best prose in this group IS in fact true surrealism (if you're
unfamiliar, consider looking into writings by Andre Breton <his 1924 manifesto
declaring his quest for the fusion of dream and reality>, for example. Surrealism
is NOT simply paintings!). It is imaginative, dreamlike, artistic, more like
automatic writing (Which, yes, I admit, the so-called "spiritualists" at the start
of our nearly-ended century used--they said--for what we might call "channeling"
today {Hah! Garbage!}). The Surrealists advocated automatic writing for use in
getting in touch with their imagination, their creativity, their true freedom....
Many of the best of you have the talent. Many of you are perhaps "poets in
disguise". Some of you are truly artists: SURREALISTS!
If anyone is interested in further explanation/exploration of Surrealism,
consider reading; _The_Autobiography_of_Surrealism_ ("Documents of 20th-Century
Art" series by Viking press), edited by Marcel Jean. Hardcover, c.1980
(Sigh.... Ok; the inevitable, if, by now, expected............)
God prolly DOES play ping-pong, while drinking sake...and--with his third
hand--enjoys rolling watermelons under Chryslers. But eye, for mysilt, feel that
truest snifterism is best experienced in the trunks of 1958-model orange
Porsches--NOT chryslers (in that portion of which the nose truly fits)-- & fists
almightly dash dashing watermelons (& even Carnegie-mellons) to smithereenies,
weenies, beanies... & only THEN do eye smell the presults! Ah! It's all stew,
and--like at the tea party in "Alice"--Everyone move down one chair!!
G'night, all!!

Agree 90%. As there is no context per se, better to concentrate on the
root message. Leave a few cultural hooks in there, anticipating the
potential nature of the audience.
Then continue to wrong-foot any responses with deftly-flighted verbal
deliveries... confound them at every turn... God, the look in their
eyes as they go down... terrific.
