Desperate Republican Leaders Consider How Another Terrorist Attack on U.S. Soil Would HELP SAVE BUSH

Among suggestions bounced around in a memo from the Republican Party on
how to regain its popularity is that another terrorist attack on
American soil would help the GOP regain the popularity it enjoyed in
post-9/11 America.
According to reports, the memo says that a terrorist attack on American
soil would "validate" the President's war on terror and allow Bush
the opportunity to "unite the country in a time of great sorrow."
However, other Republicans worry that a terrorist attack creates high
risk suggesting that the President has not done enough to protect the
country.
The memo also outlines other sources including the capture or death of
Osama Bin Laden, a drastic turnaround of the economy, and a "successful
resolution" of the Iraq War.
The memo defines a successful resolution as American forces getting out
of Iraq intact, and civil war not breaking out until after the midterm
elections in 2006.
The memo circulates as the results of the elections last Tuesday have
left an already dysfunctional White House in chaos according to
reports.
Reports from West Wing insiders say that shouting matches are
commonplace and that the blame game escalates into open warfare.
As the GOP scrambles to find a messages that resonates with voters,
some in Congress say that control of their party by right-wing
extremists have critically injured the health of the Republican Party.
Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania says that he does not want
President Bush to help with his campaign.
Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) says of the extremists, "We made our bed with
these people. Now it's the morning after and the hangover hurts like
hell."

went to China to regain some of his credibility.. Where is George Bush,

Perhaps the only respectable comment that can be made about Nixon, is that
he visited and opened talks with China to normalize trade relations with
them.. Again.. where is George Bush ?

election laws.. Chief advisor to the vice president, Dick Cheney... a man
