I don't think that there is any reasonable ground for dispute that my
page is an appropriate resource to link to in articles on the
Necronomicon, Lovecraft, Cthulhu, etc.
Anyway, I'm not going to engage in reversion wars with ignorant and
idiotic editors on Wikipedia, but if anyone else agrees with me that
links to my Necronomicon Page are appropriate by Wikipedia's guidelines
and just plain usefulness, you should feel free to edit articles to
include the link (e.g., in the "external links" section).
Code for the link to my page should look like this:

Necronomicon (Al Azif) Of The Mad Arab Abdul Alhazred But Weren't Afraid

If your pages aren't appropriate, I don't know what pages would be.

I think that your pages are absolutely great for this and may be the
problem is in way of thinking in Wikipedia. Necronomicon is quite
strange theme.
They've given self-promotion as the supposed violation of their policy,
but given my status in the field I can't see how my adding links
violates that policy. In any because of this it might help of other
people made the links instead of me.

Hello, it looks like the link to your page is back up on Wikipedia!
Am glad, as have always enjoyed your posts (which I saw on rassef-w) about
Lovecraftian words; I also liked your story which ended with the old
skeleton and his more recent companion sitting in defeat with their backs
to the endless wall.
Sincerely,
Johnny T.
Ah yes, they were on either side of the gate! Just read it again; will
send the link to a couple of friends who like that sort of thing.
Cheers,
JT
I reverted the change that removed it. Amazingly, no one has reverted my
reversion--

A massive collection of these things, Weird Words: A Lovecraftian
Lexicon, is scheduled for publication in March.

My story collection is technically out of print, but Amazon still has
some (link in sigfile). A new edition will be illustrated by Allen
Koszowski!
