A 31-year-old Macy woman has been sentenced to 15 years in federal
prison for second-degree murder in the stabbing death of her
boyfriend.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Omaha says Janice Grant acknowledged
stabbing 24-year-old Erasmo Porter last July in the chest with a
kitchen knife. She had testified that he came toward her in a menacing
way.
