It is raining. I assume the baby ducks are happy, drifting along with
the rain drops. So far, I have seen no baby geese. At first, I
thought they were late hatching. Now, I wonder if the mommies chose
to nest elsewhere this year. We have a heron on our lake. I have
seen no baby heron, but I have seen it diving more than normally for
food, so I assume there is a baby heron somewhere nearby. I'll bet I
even know which tree, since I have noticed where it flies to, small
fish in beak. But I haven't had a chance yet to check it out.
The trees are splendidly emerald right now. This spring has been
particularly luscious, with an abundance of blooms and of babies.
