family members in north Dakota. Outstanding move! I met Leo Peltier
years ago in bismarck, Leonard's father. A fine white-haired, frail
gentleman, very sad about what was happening to his son of course, and
"awestruck" he said to see hundreds of supporters there, that time, in
1984, for the Evidentiary Hearing, with Leonard in the courtroom with
his Canumpa. A lot of Peltiers came down from the Belcourt Rez for the
hearing, which PROVED the FBI La techncian Evan Hodge was lying about
the .223 shell-casing the Pigs said Leonard used to kill Coler and
Williams, and which was the main proof the Fargo jury in '76 used to
convict him.
The FBI Lab Agent admitted under oath in the courtroom, before Hanging
Judge Paul Benson, he was LYING about the shells and the Ar-15
supposedly used.
It didn't matter. Leonard went back to prison and Gov't did nothing as
always, this vicious little murdering Criminal Nation.
