"We know" that SHWesDD (which is what I'm calling this band now that seems clear who's running the debacle) increased the value of their stock first by bringing in a more credible tribute singer...and then by ditching the _Drama_ _FFH_ material, in favor of music more appreciated by the larger potential customer base. They managed to sell out more than one show on their last tour, grossing more than 100k at some shows (I know that seems a small number for a band calling itself Yes, but it is better than a lot of what came before for this band). But even though it would seem that there's good news on the concert ticket sales front, none has been reported to Billboard...before this week.... more »

Magnification Vinyl

I picked up this "new" release of Magnification.
Mostly, I'd say this is about the relative fun of having the product in the vinyl format. I don't detect any notable sonic superiority to the DVD-A. But it sounds nice and has a thick gatefold package. The inside is a minimalist background with the lyrics and credits spread across the inside of the gatefold. Nice to sit back and listen in the traditional manner.... more »

I tried out for Shark Tank today but I don't think demand is too high
for California Jam Wereo revivalists. It was at the NY Smawell
Business Expo which I attended. Lots of good stuff there, and I may've
