"We know" that SHWesDD (which is what I'm calling this band now that seems clear who's running the debacle) increased the value of their stock first by bringing in a more credible tribute singer...and then by ditching the _Drama_ _FFH_ material, in favor of music more appreciated by the larger potential customer base. They managed to sell out more than one show on their last tour, grossing more than 100k at some shows (I know that seems a small number for a band calling itself Yes, but it is better than a lot of what came before for this band). But even though it would seem that there's good news on the concert ticket sales front, none has been reported to Billboard...before this week.

This week's BS chart features a number of legacy acts, some still *very* heavy hitters. It also features a number of listings for the Warfield Theater in SF, that suggest a sold out show might not always as it might appear.

Anway, here's the slice;

Ok, it's true that even there was an actual Yes working right now, they wouldn't be doing these kind of numbers.

Somehow Manson jammed 600+ more tickets into that room...maybe it was the lower ticket prices...and the fact that MM *is* still in fact MM.

Same little theater, so many different seating capacities. *Versitile*.

So good news...SHWesDD sold better than both Knife Party *and* Ben Folds at the Warfield...I have some memory of Folds selling better that HSWes, so things are looking up...somehow.

Sadly though, SHWesDD using the Yes name is selling only marginally better than those acts, while other legacy acts are outpacing them by 2...4...8...10 times...and even more.

Is there one about tinfoil hats? That might be appropriate also. You
know, to block out those mind control rays.....
