When were you born? How many of these great years did you actually
live through? Enquiring minds want to know.
(well, that's not actually true. but humor me)
I'm guessing some others have read The A.V. Club's annual "Least
Essential Albums Of The Year" round-up (not necessarily the *worst*
albums of the year, but more like the ones with the least
justification for their existence); if we instituted a similar
category for posts, this one would have to be a contender for this
year's #1 spot.

Also do you suppose that Radjuh imagines that inventing a new name for
himself would prevent everyone from immediately identifying him as the
poster?

Jason Becker, "Perspective"
Cannibal Corpse, "Vile"
The Cure, "Wild Mood Swings"
Scorpions, "Pure Instinct"
Soundgarden, "Down On The Upside"
The Suicide Machines, "Destruction By Definition"
The Wallflowers, "Bringing Down The Horse".
Not a bad day in music, all things considered.
think in terms of offing yourself
Is that the first year of lubing your vag?
69-78 - in no particular order
I tend to start with 1969, I think I can make a pretty good case for
it, but the fact is it probably has more to do with that being the
year I really started buying records and listening to music that I
picked myself. But, Abbey Road, Court of the Crimson King, Led Zep 1 &
2, The first Yes album, Crosby Stills and Nash, In Search of the Lost
Chord, Ummagumma, Blind Faith, Goodbye by Cream, Tommy, Hot Rats,
Burnt Weenie Sandwich, The first Chicago Album, Woodstock, Altamont,
Live Dead.. it goes on and on...
It was a good year to start taking an interest in music, that's for
sure. Abbey Road was my first LP Purchase, ultimately I think I owned
four copies on vinyl, one on cassette and CD of course. The remaster
CD is only a matter of time...

Ah, but you missed some of the best parts! ('63-'68)
