Subject: I Found a Reason
I was just listening to disc 2 of the Fully Loaded album the other day,
and I noticed that of all the demo versions of the Loaded songs, the
one that sounds most unlike its album version is I Found a Reason.

Personally, I like this country-style version a LOT better than the one
that actually made it to record.  I don't know who's playing the
harmonica on this (Lou?), but it's fantastic, and the lo-fi recording
sound gives it that great rustic old country feel.  Excellent
finger-picking guitar as well.

The album version is okay, but it's a bit too slow and the "spoken"
verse sounds silly.

Any thoughts?

Jeff

That version is one my top favorite velvet songs.  It really is unique
to hear harmonica and country-style in one of their songs.

Over You is another really nice song.  I didn't even know it existed
before I downloaded a Velvet flood.  It wasn't on the original '69
live album when I bought it years ago.
