WKNC is in the middle of a remodeling project at the moment, and both
the webcam and the Real Audio feed are not working. I have no idea when
they will be restored (sadly, I have no skills in these departments).

AfterHours airs every Monday through Thursday from 7:30 PM to 11 PM and
Sunday nights from 10 PM to midnight (all times eastern). If you
couldn't guess already, it's an electronic music format.

Listeners may have been treated to listening to me answering phone calls
on two occasions on this show. I don't know if that is the case for
sure, though, as I haven't finished listening to my tape yet. These
things happen when someone calls when I'm on the mike and I forget to
turn it off! Also, I was a guinea pig for the caller channel on our new
soundboard, and I managed to turn that channel on by mistake.

It looks like I'll be pulling three shifts in eight days. Hopefully
this won't continue much longer!

How is this new Art of Noise? Is it a "cover" album of all Debussy
songs (favorite composer of mine)? Anyone have a review on a web site
I can read or would like to review on a follow up post? When was it
released and on what label? Thanks in advance.

Listen to it yourself at cdnow - So far it sounds like some marketing VP
refused to release it unless they had some cliche drum and bass samples
running in the background on it and so far the first three tracks suck
pretty hard...

The rest of it is sounding pretty contrived like bad jazz, more cliche
marketing required drum loops... sigh... if you've heard AON from the
beginning, this doesn't sound like them at all...

The 2nd disc, Metaforce remixes are the horrid nightmares of what happens
when an artist is again forced to sell out to sell records... I saw a
video on the Rolling Stone site of AON and thought it was a rap band that
stole the name.

Let's just say it sucks... I wonder if any thought went into this
production... Hell, I'm all for artists trying to reach new scenes, but
AON reached all scenes already and this new CD sounds like a sellout,
marketing forced piece of shit.

Let's just say ZUNI would review it on Codex.
