Yeah, great news. But why wasn't Flansburgh there to collect the
award? What an ungrateful swine. Linnell gave a very understated
speech which at ten seconds was at least more dignified than Natalie
Cole's meandering mush, but really he could have seemed a bit more
pleased. Danny Weinkauf then grabbed the mic and gave a quick speech
of his own which I suspect he will be kicking himself for now. He
thanked himself!

Also, the band could have dressed up a bit more for the occasion. Last
Grammy they wore tuxedos. Mind you, the two lesbo-chic bag ladies that
presented the award couldn't be bothered to change out of their
gardening clothes, so perhaps it was an altogether more casual affair.

Yeah, totally ungrateful. Who misses the Grammys just because their
father died?

Jeez...when did the band become so obligated to the fans? It's not
like they produce the greatest music ever made or anything.
