Hello Music Lovers:
In celebration of George Gee's upcoming 50th Birthday (March 31st) and
30th anniversary of swingin' for lindy hoppers (since 1980), The 10pc.
George Gee Swing Orchestra (from NYC) will embark on its first West
Coast Tour in over two years. Visiting all the choice swing dance
events in Southern California from March 24th to March 28th, every
show will feature the band's hot Savoy style (a favorite of legendary
Savoy dancers Frankie Manning and Dawn Hampton) and new music from
their upcoming new CD release spotlighting vocalist John Dokes' (and,
of course, he will be on tour with us!) tribute to "Basie, Bird &
Bacharach!"
