Band was tight. Venue strange. Volume insufficient in lawn seating
area. More a party than a concert in the lawn seating area. Most fans
talking instead of listening; disturbing for me; as the musically
inclined come to listen. My fault for not paying 5x price for xcellent
seats. As for band, my opinion with time alottment, too much jamming &
dialog(30+min) instead of more classic tunes expected from a veteran
band with a 2 hr set. At least it did not rain with forecasts of 90%
chance. Glad my 8 yr old daughter saw(on big screen)and partially
heard this wonderfully diverse orchestra 2nite. Last time I saw them
was perhaps 25 yrs ago in Madison Square Garden.
Too much hand held wind blown pianoarmica - I had one when I was 5.
Phenonomenal brass section....... only wish volume was higher.........
