If that link for The Walk doesn't work, then this one should:

This is some pretty good stuff. Nice hearing retro soul from the young'uns.

Yeah, surprisingly, not bad. I've heard a lot worse.

I could do without the video; song's not my cup of tea.

This is a little more my style, but some of the lyrics ought to go.

"Curse you, Don Tickles, Notary Public!"

You are a miserable son of a bitch, aren't you? It's even hard to
imagine any woman in long-term relationship with you, too. I duck
the inevitable profanity-laced invective barf so characteristic of
you. You ought to take stock of yourself someday.

Here's another one at the Tube, but less old Soul, but more of

More Neo-Soul, I guess from Hawthorne:

"Can't Stop":

well, maybe it beats listening to Lionel Richie, I guess; it might
actually have some grooves. Someday, some way, somebody's gonna ace
that old Soul sound again and nail it, at least since Ryan Shaw's "We
Got Love" from 2007

No, I was referring to an ** expected ** profanity-laced reply from
you. I still had a few choice words (as above) to your previous
attempt to conflate me (with 3rd party onlookers and readers) with
serial behavior of Fred Wilhelms vis-a-vis Diane, and/or open old
wounds which NEVER existed on ANY (much emphasis) comparable level
that serious between Diane and I, and not for a VERY (emphasis) long
time. Our level of hostilities which may have once existed, haven't
been at a serious level for many years, existed for a VERY (emphasis)
brief moment of time, and we've gotten along in here well enough about
96% of time by my estimate, even if not exactly in the "warm fuzzies"
range. You'd be comparing an ant to an elephant, literally, in
trying to ascribe ANY hostilities between Diane and I to in ANY way re-
semble or be comparable to that which existed over a prolongued period
of time to a deep level of enmity and prolongued discomfort between F.
Wilhelms and Diane.

3rd party (onlookers or readers) folks, to refresh your memory of what
I refer to above; here is something Dean wrote back on November 25th
that set me off, and as above, and he hasn't shown the LEAST bit
feeling over being sorry about casting shit (false or misleading
characterizations) around since writing (open quote, exact cut and
paste here for your easier reference, as follows:)

I anxiously await Tom's inevitable snide comment about Diane being
Bruce's girlfriend. {my insert: these were Dean's words}

................................................................................................................................................................

ERGO, this is reprehensible behavior on your part, which you have
never apologized for, which only proves what totally nasty pile of
shit you are...perhaps a Superfund site's worth.

Am I going to continue to let you attempt to mis-characterize me, or
conflate my behavior with someone else's?
HELL NO!!! Hasn't anyone learned BY THIS TIME, I will not take
misleading characterizations of myself lying down?

Actually, Dean, my statement (the one that was exactly what you were
thinking) was (arguably) profanity-laced ("Wtf's Mayor Hawthorne?").
The "f" in "Wtf," you know.

You are therefore guilty of euphemistic thought.

Oh! Well, in that case, I guess I really *am* a rotten human being
who's incapable of sustaining a long-term relationship (even though
I'm currently in one).

Better that (even if not true), than not having a moral leg to stand
on like yourself....or a moral pygmy - same thing.
