Fairly interesting article @ www.sonicnet.com. Click on news and you should
be able to find a July 3,1999 article entitled "Kim Gordon Keeps Busy With
New Sonic Youth LP, Solo Work".

SY has one song written for their next full length album, which will
apparently be heavily influenced by the SYR series and some of the improv
shows the band is doing. As dicussed before in the group the next SYR's
will include perfomances of compositions by John Cage, Christian Wolff,
James Tennney, and a piece written for SY by Pauline Oliveros. However, I
found this rather interesting - another piece that is slated for an SYR is
a performance of one of Yoko Ono's primal scream pieces with vocals by Coco
Gordon Moore. Also still on the slate is the recordings SY is doing with
Stilluppsteypa. Finally the article mentions that Kim is doing a duet with
Eddie Vedder, as discussed in this group earlier, for the credits of Tim
Robbin's upcoming movie "The Cradle Will Rock"
