I have always been very happy with every tool and supply purchased
from Music Medic. The repair kit is a good value for what you get

Haven't bought many items from MusicMedic: Curt Alterac, proprietor, but
I had my Selmer baritone saxophone overhauled by him this summer and I
can say that he and his staff did an excellent job with it. Many
unknown (to me) problems were found and corrected, kangaroo pads
installed, and adjustments were very well made including installation of
tuning rings, or crescents. Play was much improved, especially with
production of overtones.

Don't know about Santa: Curt is clean-shaven and bald, so maybe each
repair kit has some white hair included in the package.

I have bought a lot of stuff from them, starting a few years back with
the sax repair kit. I find everything they sell to be of excellent
quality and an excellent value. Their tools are consistently much less
expensive than comparable ones from other folks. And everyone who has
asked me to install roo pads (music medic or saxgourmet) has loved
them and in turn sent someone else to me for them. I really think the
roo pads are everything they say,a nd give a feel to the sax that
everyone seems to love. Their new facility looks great too!

Now, if someone would start offering a Conn 12M replacement neck, I'd
be happy and they'd be rich....

I bought a neck from Karsten Gloger for my 1923 Conn bass sax. It was
a huge improvement over the old one, which had been around the block
way too many times. I believe he makes his "replacement" necks based
on measurements taken from original ones. It might be worth a try.
Not cheap, but worth every penny.
