Need help identifying a 1985 show with the Pogues in London

Can anyone help me restore my ailing memory? In the spring of 1985
(maybe early March??) I was passing through London and attended a show
with Richard headlining and the Pogues opening. I like RT a lot but was
not a big enough fan to be able to identify anything useful about the
set (though most of it was electric) or the band makeup.

I'd never heard of the Pogues before but it seemed like a good
percentage of the audience were there to see them, and they got a
phenomenal response that included attempts at moshing and lots of stage
diving. The audience turned much more sedate (respectful?) for RT's set
and I recall drunkenly trying to encourage more of them to dance.

It was a big hall in London proper (not outskirts as far as I recall)
seating perhaps 3,000. Can anyone help this addled Yank figure out what
the date and venue were???
