Anybody else have any favourites or most disliked tracks by or featuring
members of Rammstein?

Well, that question died a death, didn't it? lol

To answer your original question, yes it appears this newsgroup is very
quiet. I set my newsreader to show all messages and this newsgroup
appears to have died over a year ago.
I don't mind a discussion in a public forum if other people reply. Since
you're the only one that appears to want to talk about Rammstein, is is
OK for me to send you an e-mail?

Of course it's ok for you to send me an email, I'm just hoping that this
newsgroup can be revived when people wander in and realise that on topic
posts are actually appearing here, and I appreciate that this may take time.
Maybe I'm flogging a dead horse but I won't know unless I try. :-) If you
email me no one else will be able to join in, that's the point I'm trying to
make.
But, feel free ... email away. :-)

I know the point you're trying to make, flogging the dead horse.
Is it possible that people that listen to Rammstein don't speak much
English? Sort of the reverse of my situation since I don't speak much
German and I couldn't reply to a post in German because I wouldn't know
what they were talking about.
Do you get a lot of SPAM since you're posting in this newsgroup with
what appears to be a real e-mail address? Just curious.

I wouldn't have thought so ... Rammstein are really big in the UK (though
you wouldn't think so listening to our radio stations ... if the lyrics
aren't in English they simply don't get air time over here), so there plenty
of English speaking fans. Personally, I would love to see some posts in
other languages because I get big kick out of attempting to translate and
reply in the poster's own tongue. I've always loved languages since I was a
child. But I don't think I'm quite normal in that respect. I imagine that
most people would skip over a post if they couldn't read or understand it
straight away. My husband is a perfect example.

I've been posting in newsgroups probably for the past 9 or 10 years and only
ever used this email address when I do, so spam doesn't bother me in the
least, especially since Hotmail now offer a decent sized inbox and a half
decent spam filter. I wouldn't dream of using my "real" address to post to
Usenet, of course.
