There is also a syndicated U.S. version, called "Your Big Break." An
individual did FM a couple months back.

Personally, I'm not a great fan of the show, but the guy doing Freddie
tonight was fantastic.

He came on, a balding Scottish bloke who looked nothing like Freddie (and
still didn't even after the makeover!!!) - but if you closed you're eyes
you would swear blind it was Freddie!!!

He must have listened to the original A Kind of Magic for weeks to perfect it.,

He deservedly won!!!

I was thinking while watching it - wouldn't it be good for the band to do
a concert as a kind of competition for the best sound alike - I have heard
a couple of good ones now - I wonder how many more there are out there


Would be a good way of airing some of the newer songs in a live environment???

We also have spin-off in which children dress up as their idols and mime to one of their songs. A few years ago there was 6 year old who performed I want it all. Quite amusing.

-. A couple weeks ago there were a couple guys in the Soundmix Show that were imitating Montezuma's Revenge with an acapella version of Don't Stop Me Now, they were very good and won the show, they lost in the finals, but they were good.

I thought he was great as well. Kind of had a big thing about adding a W
onto the beginning of some of the lines ". . . wis challenging the doors of
time." At least that's what it sounded like to me. But other than that it
was incredibly good. I'd love to sing Queen's songs, but I wouldn't have the
nerves to do anything like that.

That was the best Freddie impersonator I have ever seen/heard.
As someone else said, "close your eye's and you would think it
was Freddie". A powerfull voice, if a little rough, but sounded
just like the Freddie of that time.
I'm just amazed, that guy should go places.
