I was wondering if anyone knew the sources of the breaks used in smbu,
poison, firestarter, voodoo people et al... these breaks seem fairly
familiar.

I know this one, poison, uses a break from the song 'Its a new day' by
Scull Snaps. it also contains a slow amen break somewhere in there I
think. The amen breakbeat is a classic, taken from 'Say Amen Brother' by
The Winstons.

I have both these tunes, they can be found on compilations, 1) cutmaster
swift presents 'the breaks II' (for the scull snaps one) and 2) block
party breaks 2 (for 'say amen brother')
both records I got from www.htfr.com
I dont know where the firestarter break comes from but I have it on disk
here, I found on the web somewhere.
