There is a guy called Moby. But he hasn't done a single called Moby,

He might have meant a Moby remix? The Dance Hall version of
Everybody In The Place on the US Charly/EITB and the UK EITP is the
only one, right?
Too bad they don't get Moby to remix "Smack My Bitch Up". They
could call it the "that's when i reach for my hypocrite mix"

Eh? Oh that... I wouldn't act out those things in real life. It is

Uh-oh... looks like judo man is after me :)
Of course, you have to be over 18 to download if you're in the UK.
(That's the webmaster's words, not mine!) So Mike, as you're 12... ;)
(I'm sure you'll abide by these rules, of course. *cough*)

I'm not online now, but it's one of these...
http://www.btinternet.com/~samj
http://www.tne.net.au/gomi/home/gtafiles.html
The no timer file for the 24 bit version is called NOTIMER24.ZIP,
iirc. Those above urls also contain some good cheats and stuff.
(Mostly for the full game, which I recommend you buy if you like the
demo)

Aqua and 2 Untalented are Cheddar.
Anyway... now for the on-topic bit. I'd finished writing out this
post, and I was like "oh shit, not another totally off-topic message.
What can I do to make it on-topic?"... Here we go then...
In the latest NME, there is a 2 page article on Grand Theft Auto.
Pretty odd for a paper that usually only carries music-related stuff.
Anyway, as you'll recall, NME is one of the so-called indie papers
that slammed Prodigy for releasing SMBU. They said it was
'inexcusable' to deny the 'pro-female-beating' lyrics.
Naturally, I hate this conservative 'Daily Mail' style of journalism,
especially when it hits the once-great NME. Bible of UK rock and roll?
Parish newsletter more like it.
The GTA article is about the controversy of the game. (For those not
in the know - you work for a mafia-style mob, you have to break into
cars and do your dirty deeds, getting points for killing police or
innocent pedestrians and doing terrorist work.) The game almost didn't
come out in the UK thanx to several MPs and other groups seeking to
ban this 'evil' game. (Yeah, this sounds familiar, eh?)
The game's producer says this: "I went to see Crash and couldn't see
what all the fuss was about. I'm over 18, I'm old enough to make my
own mind; we don't need legislation to tell us what we can or can't
look at. The basis of censorship is that people can't be trusted to
form their own opinions - but I don't trust the government to make up
my mind"
Really good argument. At the end of the article, the NME writer
agrees: "We may have a different government, but you'll find the
we-know-best attitude towards censorship hasn't changed much. By the
time you read this you may not be able to buy Grand Theft Auto... And
that really would be crimininal."
Well said... But I have a certain memory of this very paper slamming
the Prodigy for releasing SMBU. The NME's sister paper Melody Maker
even wrote an editorial where "Prodigy should rot in hell. They are
scum". The crime? Using Herman Goering quotes in the FOTL inlay.
Now, what was that about a silly "we-know-best attitude"? I smell
hypocrisy.
Anyway, if you like what you've read about the game, please do buy it,
or at least download the demo! (Christ, I sound like I've got shares
in BMG or something!) It's the equivalent of SMBU in the computer game
world! ;-)

Well, I think stories about how much Jon Ritman got paid for writing
ZX Spectrum games are interesting and cool. But it's pretty much
off-topic here. We must keep it Prodigy-related, as Netiquette

BTW, just found out this.
You can play GTA with your favourite album as the soundtrack to it!
Stick the audio CD in before you run the game (ah - full game owners
will have to have the CD crack installed, download it from that files
page. The demo, of course, doesn't need a CD to run), make sure that
in the options you have RADIO selected as the music mode.
Whenever you break into a certain car, say a Beast GTI, a track from
the album will always play for that car.
I tried out the Prodigy albums, and got this...
FOTL
Menu: Breathe or SMBU
Walking thru town: Diesel Power. Brilliant choice, I must say! This
fits in *perfect* with the atmosphere.
Taxis: Funky Shit
many of the sports cars: Serial Thrilla - great for jumping over the
broken bridge
Police Cars: Fuel My Fire! Excellent choice for those police chases!
JILTED
Menu: Their Law
Walking thru town: 3 Kilos. Again, another excellent choice!
Oh, I can't remember much else, other than some cars had Full Throttle
:) The Heat, Poison, No Good and Claustrophobic Sting.
Police Cars: One Love. Er, very surreal!
EXPERIENCE
I remember Fire (Sunrise Version) being the walkabout music, but
really, this album doesn't go with this game, so I didn't play for
long like this.

yeah, it is an absolutely wicked game, most recommended. one of these
days i'll try and find an address with the full game on, and let you
lovely people know. i've managed to dl it already, but i haven't a clue
where from.
(disclamer: i do not condone software piracy. if you download the full
game for 'evaluation purposes', you must delete it within 24 hours. i
personally only downloaded it because my original retail cd was
scratched.)
don't you just love all these blatantly bollocks disclaimers? ;D
as for the smbu thing, there are comparisons to be made, especially with
the video. both contain 'contraversial' subject matter, causing great
media outcry and all that bollocks. but although this makes them 'cool'
in a weird rebellious way, they are both good enough to stand up without
this. both are very original, veeery well put together and just bloody
great fun. so enjoy :)

yeah, i think that still counts as on topic... :)

That one there was a work of genius!
On my piracy stance, having written a few computer programs (and
fonts) myself, I don't usually mind if people copy them, as long as
it's not done for excessive profit. I'm gonna stick a big disclaimer
in my next game, as I'm sick of people earning money of my time.

Yeah, unlike Marilyn Manson, who's a bit obsessive with his image
department... (Having said that, some of his music I do like)
>yeah, i think that still counts as on topic... :)
It does if we keep on adding stuff like this...
Yes, I've confirmed it with Petri. Having the FOTL CD in your drive
will give you Diesel Power as the 'walkabout' music. Jilted CD gives
you 3 Kilos.
FOTL is the perfect soundtrack for this joyriding/terrorism game.
Jilted would be, if the game would include Speedway or Break And
Enter. (well, there is Full Throttle and Their Law)
Now, if that ain't good enough reason to go out and buy GTA, I dunno
what is! (If Prodge ain't your favourite band, just stick your fave
band's CD in, then! hehe)

That is really stupid. They should keep them on for Wimbledon matches,

Monty Python's Life Of Brian is banned from UK TV (kind of, er, but

Well, I couldn't play like that. I stuck in Never Mind The Bollocks by
the Sex Pistols. Good album, but the gameplay wasn't helped by it, as
it wasn't a surprise to jump into cars and get punk music every time.
A bit too 'samey'.
With the last two Prodigy albums, it works, because of the diversity
of the tracks involved.
Selected Mixes For The Jilted Generation wasn't too great IMHO.
The bootleg "Only For The Headstrong" CD was okay, as you get Android
as the walkabout music!
Spawn Soundtrack is quite good, but nothing beats FOTL... IMHO

Naah, I can't believe that. If they REALLY got one of OJ's lawyer's
