Iam a Prince fanatic and have been for over ten years. In my opinion all of
his music from Graffiti Bridge back is floorless and to say that any one of
these songs is better than any other is an exercise in futility, it all
depends on how you feel at the time. However, since then for one reason or
another (which we are left to speculate) his music has slowly declined to
the point of despair with that piece of crap called 'Chaos and disorder'.
Now Iam not saying that all his music now is worthless. He has got some
pure gems of old Prince brilliance on his albums since (e.g. Friend, lover,
sister, mother/wife and The love we make). But will there again come a time
when every track on every album gives you a musical orgasm as in the days
of old or will it be a case of take the good with the bad as in
Emancipation???
