All of U who R dissing THE ARTIST r total jerks and blind fools.

U get upset because U want u'r Crystal Ball cd now and U want it
so cheap that it drives the artist into bankruptsy. In case y'all
hadn't noticed, he pays all of his bills now. Ain't no big corporation
like Warner Brothers (they may as well be named Spooky Electric 4 all
the evil they cast down on the artist when all he wanted 2 do was give us
the music).

The Holy River awaits but U all r so greedy.
U obviously know nothing about what it takes 2 run a website
or press a cd and promote it, or run an ordering and information
800 line. it's all about what u want and what u can get and how soon.
I would gladly donate $50, $100, $150 or even more 4 any release.
It is all fair, do u really think he desires to rip off his children ?
It costs alot to make a cd, to create a web page, to run and staff an
800 number. to mail out all of u'r orders.

I support everything the artist does because i know he has our best interests
in mind. i, too lost a couple of hundred dollars when i had to buy tickets
to one of his recent shows from a scalper and the show was cancelled and
redone via the voucher system. but u will not see me compaining because i
know that goodness was at the heart of his decision to cancel the show.
it is my fault 4 purchasing the ticket from a scalper and the money i lost i
count as joy that it was the price of learning a good lesson. i doubted
the artist and bought from a scalper and i lost. everytime i trust in him,
i conquer. everytime i doubt, i lose.

don't kiss the beast y'all

just let HIM be free and do what he can, just watch and u will be so happy.
HE knows what we want, HE knows how to make us happy.
god has blessed HIM with the vision to help us all with his music.

The slave is now free. God has blessed him and though Warners tried to
effectively crucify him and kill the slave, The artist is reborn.

Embrace the LOVE 4 1 ANOTHER site, the artist's newest child is here to
bless us with his gifts.

You obviously haven't been paying close attention 2 what we've been
saying...the issue is not really the price or the delay...the issue is
there has been NO, abosolutely NO official announcement about 1) Price, 2)
Content, 3) Release date, 4) # of dollars going to charity. INSTEAD, all
we get are some lunatics running around, SUPPOSEDLY working for the man
and operating a website that may or may not have any official sanction
whatsoever for what it's doing...How hard is it to do a press release
anyway?!?! Nobody ELSE seems to have a problem with it. Look...I'll be
more than happy to support a noble endeavor, or hell, even just a
profitable one to experience the music...but I'm TIRED of all these
rampant rumors and guessing at how much and when money's gonna be pulled
from MY account. Especially when it's something so EASILY fixed! Press
release. Distance himself from the insanity and state quite simply what's
coming out, when, and how much. Period. Is this too much 2 ask?!? If it
is, just forget the whole thing. I'm too tired to worry about it anymore
anyway. But it just seems to me it has to be MUCH more difficult doing
things this way. Hell, hire me. For a three year contract, I'll take over
the whole operation. The website, the toll-free line, EVERYTHING. But I'll
hound you. I'll call you every hour for legit information about upcoming
releases if I have to before I go giving it out to everybody. I'll be
completely honest with everyone who calls about what is REAL and what is
speculation. I won't let you take pre-orders without setting a price and
issuing an official announcement.
But, obviously, this is not what is desired.

I hope he doesn't rip off his children, but what does that
have 2 do with us? or me? Maybe I should just speak for
myself since I'm not within the Family Circle. I don't
want Crystal Ball NOW. For some reason, I don't really
think I want it. If it was selling in the stores, I might
be consider it. I'd rather have The Truth, but I don't
even know if I'm ready for that yet. Jewel is all the
acoustic I need right now. It's time we all reach out for
something new.

Maybe some of my apathy comes from Emancipation being such
a "perfect" album. I mean, would u really want to buy the
followup to a perfect album. He needs to relearn reinvention
of self instead of recycling of self and assimilation of
others. :)

I would watch what you put your faith in... I personally owe the artist
a lot & I love his music, but he ain't no god. While I don't try to
jump to conclusions as quick as other have shown on this newsgroup,
the man has screwed his fans over once in a while through the years.
It's human nature...it's gonna happen. There is also nothin' wrong
with being pissed at 0(+> sometimes... I mean, ya gonna tell me you
never got pissed at your friend(s) at one time or another? Didn't
think so...

Point is that not everything 0(+> does is gonna be in your best interest.
Peace.

Ahhh, perfection doesn't exist.

EMANCIPATION still sounds fresh to me as well. Although it'd be nice to
have songs like "Crucial" on CD, I'm not going to jump through hoops for
CRYSTAL BALL, THE TRUTH and whatever else he's got waiting in the wings.
There have just been too many gimmicky little ploys over the past few
years for me to have faith in this new record distribution system.

Besides, if they've only gotten 5000 pre-orders, my feeling is that copies
of this album (s) will suddenly become available down the road. Like his
other stunts, I'm just gonna sit back and see what happens.

Well, I sure know how 2 talk, but 1st, a CD doesn't cost that much 2 make,
2nd, that's nice that U R willing 2 pay so much for every release, but some
of us have 2 work hard just 2 be able 2 pay the bills, so usually we don't
have that kind of money 2 spend.
also, He himself said that he wants 2 make his music free, so how come it
got from free to too expensive?
Don't get me wrong, if I had money, I would be happy to give it away, but
life is different than what I want them 2 be.
