BOYCOTT LARRY GRAHAM!

has seemed to fade away? What's up with this Then I hear the Prince and
Mayte are fighting and have broken up. Larry Graham has latched onto Prince
and is ruining his career, and obviously his marrige with all of those
cultist beliefs. I want to hear Prince without Larry in the background.
Hopefully he will do to Larry what he has done with his other musical
periods. Kept them for 2 or 3 years and move on to something else. Prince
kept the Revoloution for 3 (technically 4 if you count 1999). He kept the
NPG for 3 or 4 albums. I say "BOYCOTT LARRY GRAHAM!" The kid will continue
to dull while that guy is still around.

Stop buying his albums? HaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!! Hey, I like the guy and the only
CD I have is "Release Yourself".
The best way to split them up would have been to reverse that
situation. That is to make him a successful solo artist. His success would
then make it impossible for him to spend too much time with 0)+> or "Little
Brother". Right now he needs this gig, and Prince, who doesn't like being
told what to do (not by fans nor by critics), will continue to hold on to
Larry for another year or two, or three.
By the way, I do plan on getting GCS 2000. I just haven't gotten around
to it, yet.

I can't imagine anyone having very much influence on Prince ............
And Larry is one of the greatest bass players that ever lived. If he is
able to steer the artist away from his self-indulgent musical pleasures we
just might here some great pop tunes out of this guy again.

I agree with you...but did you ever stop to think that if maybe we don't even
mention these mofos (Larry and Kirk), maybe HE'LL get tired of them and fire
them. Sometimes it seems that the only reason he keeps them around is because
we (fans) don't like them.

I was a big fan of Larry Graham and GCS back in the day. Prince has excellent taste in music but let's be real: He hasn't done anything relevant in decades, and whether or not his religion has anything to do with that, I can't say. He's no longer a "slave" to Warner Bros., so it boggles the mind why he can't seem to create funky, inspiring music anymore.
