Rumors about Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan????

From time to time I've heard news bits that Gabriel musical ally, Nusrat
Fateh Ali Khan, has not been in good health. Recent hyperlink at Billboard
magazine's website also stated: "Ali Khan Crosses Another Bridge". But
when I clicked on it, a *totally* unrelated story, which oddly enough did
include a photo of him, appeared under that heading. The heading seemed to
imply that perhaps he had passed away.

So does anyone know about his status -- health and otherwise -- at this
point and, more important, how that has impacted on the recording of
Peter's next project? Have been looking forward to a release of Peter's
song, "Signal to Noise," which he premiered with Ali Khan on the VH1
Honors concert about a year ago. It would seem that Ali Khan would record
the song with Peter.
