Well, with one week left to come up with an ampj logo, I've only heard
from one person who says he's doing one. So come on, people, your work
will be displayed on a web site, even if we don't choose it for our
t-shirts.

We desperately need someone to do the following tasks:

1. Find out who did the logo on Spidey's page (don't want to put it up
for a vote without permission from the artist).

2. Need someone to create a voting script for the logos.

3. Need someone to go back and find all of our "P J" words.

4. Need someone to dig out that quote about ampj (from Matt, I think?).

If you can do one of the above things, please reply to this and put your
name by it, and then "just do it".

Okay, I know that lots of people are interested in these t-shirts, and I
can organize the thing, but it ain't gonna happen without people getting
involved. If we work together, we can do this.

I contacted the Ten Club, to see if they could get them made for us and
sell them through their site, but they said they were too busy with the
tour, etc. So, we're on our own.

I'm sure that everyone who participates in this will be heroes on this
newsgroup, so if anyone can spend an hour or so doing one of these
tasks, it will be appreciated by many. Please don't make the mistake of
thinking "they" are going to get these t-shirts done. If it gets done,
it will be "you" who helps.

Also, Jammer, did you manage to get that quote for doing a logo like the
one on Spidey's site? If it's too expensive, I want to be able to tell
the artists to stick to 2 plain colors. If it's not, then the artists
can "go crazy".

Okay, I'm trying not to be a controlling bitch, but really, this won't
get done without help and deadlines, etc.

Ah, forgot something, what color are the T-Shirts?!? I presume black would
be it right?

Well, any copyrighted material, quotes or pictures, should have the
proper permission. I doubt even though we are going to make these
non-profit, that Sony would give permission for a picture to be on a
t-shirt. Jammer is going to find out from his t-shirt contacts if we
can have a full color logo, or if we should limit it to maybe 2 colors.
I'm sure he'll post when he finds out.

I think that's something we should vote on; I personally hate black
t-shirts, but it depends on which color the logo we choose looks good
on. So it's basically up to you. Perhaps the color/logo combination
would have to be a package. Perhaps someone could design something for
a blue t-shirt, which may appeal to both men and women (hope I'm not
stereotyping anyone!). Comments anyone?

Many photo's on synergy site is posted by fans who have given them to the
site. Those you probably just have to send an email to the one given credit
to on the site and ask for permission to use on this t-shirt.

Okay, I found the quote about amp-j that someone posted a few months
back.

I guess it's a bit wordy to put on the t-shirt along with a logo.

Also found the thread where we were doing the "G C" words for someone's
friend, then it turned into "E V" but I couldn't find any "P J" words.
Maybe we didn't do it. Well, let's start it now!

Maybe:
Different people from around the world in one newsgroup to talk about the
love of one band that connects us all together through music and spirit
Pearl Jam
we are AMPJ

Maybe Flynn can edit it since it's comes from him/her.

But really, if PJ could put up a set list on the back of the "Alive"
stickman t-shirt, I don't see why all of Flynn's words can't fit with the
right font styles to make it fit.

Just a suggestion.....it's really a great little statement.

Hey yeah! Where is Steph? She disappeared during my 2 month 'break' from
the newsgroup and all things to do with my computer due to a blown up power
supply.

Hi everyone, just a note to say that I thank everyone who has sent me
pictures of Pearl Jam for the t-shirt, but what we are looking for is
artwork for an ampj logo. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it would
be illegal to put a picture of Ed or Pearl Jam on a t-shirt without
their permission, even if it is non-profit, even if you took the
picture. Same goes for the words Pearl Jam. This is an ampj shirt, not
a Pearl Jam shirt. If some of you feel strongly (and there are some
awesome pictures, here!) then before we could vote on them, you would
have to get official permission from the band. But I personally think
this shirt is about US, not PJ!
