How many PMG concerts have you attended?

That's two questions.

Better than hearing "Lady Day", or checking in at Monterey...

The first time I saw PMG was at the University of
Kentucky Art Center in 1991(?). Not sure what year
but the tour was We Live Here. I've seen PMG twice since
at The Palace in Louisville, KY. If you ever get a chance to
see anyone of note at this venue, GO! It is one of the most
amazing restored old theatres in the country. Pat has gushed
about how cool it is both times he's played there. Check this link
to see what it looks like:

Since then I've seen the group a few times, and the trio a few times,
including an unbelievable show at the Paradise in Boston in 1990, with Roy
Haynes and Dave Holland (Question & Answer tour). Question & Answer being
one my all time favorite cds.
Caught the last tour in Boston as well, with the new lineup, and it was
probably the best Group show I've seen. They just keep getting better. Pat &
Richard Bona on bass doing Broadway Blues. Killer.
Saw the trio 99/00 trio in NY, then again at the Sommerville theatre, just
down the street from Pat's old apt. This show totally blew me away.
Can't get enough.

my first show was a concert in Mannheim/Germany in 1979 (4 Dollars per
ticket), just after the release of the "American Garage" album. Since then I
went to a P.M. show about every two years - that makes about 12 concerts.
The last one was the "Speaking of Now" concert in Frankfurt/Germany (42
Dollars per Ticket...).
Greetings,
Jochen
