Moasley Shoals has some instant hits, The day we caught the train,
the river boat song etc. but marchin' already really grows on you.
So what are your favourite songs and which album is better?
No i havent forgotten the first album, but i think we'll all agree
that the 2nd and 3rd are much better, my sister thinks that the
hairstyles of the band on the first album cover discount it straight away.
I hope this gets some discussion going.
Bye for now

Although both are great albums, I think that Mosely Shoals is the best,
although I have only had Marchin' Already for a few months and albums
usually take ages to grow on me.
On Marchin Already, I think too many similar songs are grouped together,
namely the last half of the album.

Get Blown Away - If anybody can name a better guitar intro (other than
Hendrix - Purple Haze & Voodoo Chile) then their record collection is better
than mine (and mine's good)
The first 3 singles (it's a beautiful thing wore off a bit after a while.)

Well from MA I prefer the 4 that they released, Big Star, Debris Road
and Get Blown Away.
From MS I like The Riverboat Song, The Day We Caught The Train, The
Circle, Lining Your Pockets, 40 Past Midnight, One For The Road and
You've Got It Bad.
But then again I like everyone of their songs on both the albums. I
think they're both just as good as each other, different but both good.
Tim.
You are forgetting another of their exclusive albums... B-sides, Free
Rides and Sea-Sides (or something like that...I can never get the words
in the right order!) I love it to bits. Esp the acoustic live version
of The Day we Caught the Train. Wow! What a song!
However I wouldn't say it is my fave. At the mo Marching Already is, I
think. But then I love Mosely Shoals a lot. Thing is I listened to it so
much when I first got so I've overheard it, i guess! When i heard it
again recently after not hearing for a while I really loved it again.
So, like The Beatles, it is impossible to say which is my best as they
are all so cool. :o)
