Hi,

The concerts (the small one at teh tennis club and the "real" one hat
Nürtingen) were recorded on digital 48 track masters tapes and it was
planned that Tom does the mix himself, but as far as I heard he couldn't
do that for time reasons - so another one will do it.
Then the concert will be available on CD. I don't know if everything,
maybe shortened to a double CD, maybe a CDR, maybe not. Time will tell.
I'm not really connected to that work, so I only can post what I've
heard, but I'm in close contact to Martin Glatz, who (musically)
organized the concert(s). I'll keep you informed.
Before the concert at Nürtingen I was in the room of the musicians and
took part with their meal and they had a DAT of the soundboard mix of the
day before and it already sounded wonderful! As the multitrack mix will
be even better I happily wait for it.
I recorded both concerts with my little portable camcorder and now I have
6x 1h tapes and I don't know what to do. At least I'll copy them on VHS
if anyone wants to, but MAYBE I contact a local TV station and ask them
to use the cutting room to make mix of two existing camera versions and
the soundboard sound, which I could get from Martin. I've to discuss this
with Martin first.
Anyway camcorder recordings always look amateurish.
I'll put some video stills and maybe a mpeg clip online and I'll write a
review of the whole weekend tomorrow as I have too much work to do today.
Mind the gap! ... errm.. no...
<verifying a couple of papers on the table> ... ah:
Watch the space!
