The recording I made of last night's broadcast turned out great! It was a
very powerful concert and it reaaly reflects on the recording. Great band,
although a 7 minute drumsolo is maybe not such a great idea....

Marco kicks ass! Maybe it helps if you see him drum also...than you
want a 20 minute drumsolo!!! Marc Broer did a great job mising this
show..with help from MK of course.

Yes, you're right Mike, it is a fantastic performance and Marco's solo is
beyond belief. I was at the Paradiso and it was great.
But Marco has many spots in the show where he shows his skills together with
the rest of the band, I like that even more.

I agree it's a killer mix. Very huge and somehow mysterious at the
same time. That show really does have a vibe unlike any other
recordings I've done -- and it definitely has the '72-'74 Crimson
flavor with the violin and the orchestral drumming, which was a flavor
I wasn't expecting but was more than happy to get.

Killer Nonkerchunk on there too. The gtr solo on Blue Jean Baby is the
best I've ever done, I currently believe.

And what about Herman van Haaren...he does a great job in mind that he
had so little time to rehearse this stuff!
He and Marco gives this performance something special beyond believe.
And Beller is counting his ass of with MM playing those weird off
beats.:- )
And yes..the solo on I Will is so cool you won't believe!
