Upgrades and Soundfonts

I just upgraded my computer to XP... and I am going to get the AUDIGY2 Z5
Platinum Pro 24-bit soundcard... I had invested a "few" dollars into the
SoundFont library I was using with my 16-bit CREATIVE SOUNDBLASTER LIVE
PLATINUM + 5.1.............. my question is can I use the old soundfonts
with the new 24-bit soundcard? The SBLIVE+ came with a VIENNA program and a
Soundfont manager... does the 24-bit AUDIGYPlatinum Pro come with these
applications?
Another question... what are the advantages/disadvantages to purchasing an
external (outboard) AUDIGY PLATINUM PRO rather than the internal AUDIGY
PLATINUM.............?
I am not sure what difference it makes, but I am using the Voyetra MUSIC
STUDIO (XP compatible) as my MIDI program... don't laugh... it is a very
inexpensive and does everything I need to produce my orchestral music, which
I then burn to CD...

it does not come with Viena but I kept the program from my older cards
It does have a better font manager
And also handles large fonts better
all of the older fonts I have used work with it
