just a quick note that the WIZ is on at 1.10pm and not 10.10pm.....

They only gave it two stars (but Ill tape it anyway, It has MJ with no
surgerys done at all, I think)

lol not his face, the back of his head. And he did have an accident on stage
in 1979; he tripped on stage and broke his nose, which resulted in his first
nose job.

no.see.Michael had always wanted a nose job.to look different from his dad or
whatever...his dad always said if he did anything to change his face or
anything else, he'd kill him.....anyway Michael aws rehearsing for
something.possibly Motown 25.not sure.was rehearsing at the family home, he
tripped over or fell or something.I imagine it WAS for Motown 25 whren he was
trying to perfect the spin-onto your toes jump move thing.he ahd been wanting
to stay on his toes for as long as possible but was dissapointed with his
performance when he fell down after only a short time.but I guess he was
practicing to perfect that move and fell splat on his face and he broke his
nose....had to have surgery to correct it.but they did something wrong and was
left unable to breathe correctly...hence the 2nd job.and he had to have a bit
more re-corrective surgery after that. Was after Motown 25 when everyone got
back into THe Jacksons.Michael agreed to do the Pepsi ad's with the brothers
which was when he burnt his scalp etc. and needed corrective surgery for that
aswell...then while recouperating from that he was talked into doing the album
and concert with his brothers. so.yeah....

The Motown remake of "The Wizard Of Oz" it stars Diana Ross as Dorothy, Michael
as the scarecrow and other famous peeps as the other characters...can't say I
really take much notice of anyone besides Michael in it or the ppl Michael is
singing or dancing with at the time.but not enough to go and remember all their
names etc.

Nah, it happened in 1979 before Off The Wall came out. Look at the cover and
youi'll his nose is different.

The Wiz was a black version of The Wizard Of Oz created for the musical stage
in the 70's. The show was very popular for its production and musical numbers.
But when a movie version was made, it didn't transfer as well and it bombed at
the box office. Michael plays the scarecrow in the movie and he was hailed for
his performance. Another problem with the movie, from my perspective, was that
it was too long; two hours and fifteen minutes.

Just adjustments. I don't think they were really for looks, but just
internal reasons under the skin level.

stage i was gonna say that then i read yours :-) - but i heard that he might
of dont it on purpose for an excuse, u know because he thought he looked
like his dad and because he was really conscious about it - from his dad.

It was a two birds with one stone circumstance. He had to have it repaired,
but also had it to not look like pops. But, most of the 'multiple' as some
would say were to fix things internally, and not for a change of appearance.

your kinda right...ppl say he had the surgeries so he wouldn't look like his
dad.but it started off when he tripped and broke his nose while rehearsing 1
day.he had to have surgery to get it fixed..he was left with breathing problems
cos they did a shoddy job.he had to have a 2nd reconstructive (3rd operation) to
fix it more.final reconstruction.....he might've had another one since
then...dunno...but...when John said reasons "under the skin" I guess that's what
he meant...he didn't do it for vanity.so he'd look better. but maybe the others
so he wouldn't look like his dad or because they were reconstructive things that
HAD to be done.....
