It is a story from the 1940's I am not sure either if it is a "story" or a
true story.

I have a promokit of HIStory where all the songs from disc 2 are described,
but NOT Little Susie, I really do not understand why..

So I could also need some info about this. If there are some other MJ fans
out there that have more detailed info about LITTLE SUSIE.

He sings about Susie in Blood On The Dance Floor too, so the name could be a
name he just uses because it is easy to be included in a song, or something
like that.

I've always wondered that too.
But a very moving song. Also "Smile".
Is it the same suzie in BOTDF?
And who is Annie in smooth criminal?
Who was Billie Jean?

Little Susie is about a little girl that was physically abused and she was
pushed downstairs or something. It's the only song I'll never listen to.

>Also "Smile".

Smile is a great song. It's from way back when.

> Is it the same suzie in BOTDF?

He uses the name in a few songs. Just like other names.

> And who is Annie in smooth criminal?

????

> Who was Billie Jean?

Here are MJ's words: "There is a girl named Billie Jean, but it's not about
that Billie Jean. Billie Jean is kinda anonymous. It represents a lot of
girls who used to - they used to call them groupies in the 60's - they would
hang around backstage doors and any band that would come to town they would
have a relationship with. And I think I wrote this out of experience with my
brothers when I was little. There was a lot of Billie Jean's out there.
Every girl claimed that they're song was related to one of my brothers."

I heard or read I should say that it was about this girl who snuck into
the Encino home at one time, she was a die hard fan and then some. She
would stalk Michael and write letters. Then she threatened to kill her
son for the love of Michael or something like that. I know it upset
Michael a great deal. I think she's still in jail.

I would like to see MJ make a song for his fans.
Like ABBA made "Thank you for the music".
It would be a fitting end to a magical fairy tale carer!

What do you folks think?

you mean that girl Jon Benet Ramsey? Who went missing and was later found dead in a basement room of the house, parents suspected of the murder but they've never been able to charge anyone for the murder? no.....that murder happened on Christmas Day 96  and Mikes album was out in 95.....or it might've been 95 it happened but Mikes album was out before Christmas Day...so.yeah...if that's who you were meaning I don't see how it could be...but there could be someone else you're meaning....

THE SONG IS JUST A METAPHOR FOR ALL LITTLE KIDS WHO ARE ALWAYS LEFT
ALONE AT HOME. I THINK THAT THEY ARE CALLED LATCHKEY KIDS. AND THE FACT
THAT THE GIRL WAS PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS IS EVEN MORE SURREAL. I THINK
THAT IT IS A MESSAGE THAT MJ IS TRYING TO GET ACROSS THAT WE SHOULD
TREAT OUR CHILDREN AND THE CHILDREN OF THE WORLD WITH LOVE AND SHOWER
THEM WITH ATTENTION.

MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU!

Billie Jean was this lady who used to stand at the end of Michael's drive
and say to him, those are the keys to my car, those are the keys to my house
and im pregnant with our baby. etc.
Michael found it really weird cus when he used to go out with his brothers
when he was younger the same thing happend to them and he always found it
freaky but amusing. and he just thought it be cool to write a song about it.

Yeah I know the story behind the song. I just said it was somewhat fictitious
because not everything in the song actually happened to him and the name
"Billie Jean" was just made up for the song.

wrong & right , the name of the woman who harassed MJ way back in 81 was
name louisia , he did write the song to react and in fact you can read the
woman's name in the video...look closer under the big poster with the two
ladies....

I think Annie is featured in the video as that Chinese chick that was eyeing
Mike when he walks into the club, and at the end of the video slams the door
and stands infront of it. I don't think she has any relation to the song, or
to Michael's personal life.

If Katie was named Annie in Moonwalker, I would assume that things would
have been a lot more cleared up. The Annie character has a lot of
experiences that are similar with Katie. They are both being seduced by the
drugs. Voluntarily or involuntarily is their difference I think.

Billie Jean was just a made up name I know that as when he worte the song he
asked one of his sisters if she thought it was a good name and whether it
sounded too much like the tennis player. As for Annie, Suzie and Little
Suzie I haven't got a clue. However, If that's puzzling ya who the hell is
Dirty Diana???

Dirty Diana, is also a made up name.
He actually didn't want to perform that song on Wembley Stadion in 1987,
because Princess Diana was going to see the show.
Princess Diana said that he just had to perform that song, cause she liked
it so much.
And Michael doubled checked with "Are you sure?" and Princes Diana said:
"yes!"
