FEBRUARY 8--As prosecutors today announced manslaughter charges against
Michael Jackson's former doctor, the Los Angeles medical examiner
simultaneously released its final report on the singer's June 2009
death. The 51-page coroner's report, key excerpts of which you'll find
below, concluded that the powerful anesthetic propofol caused the
50-year-old Jackson's demise. The L.A. District Attorney's Office
charged today that Dr. Conrad Murray "did unlawfully, and without
malice, kill Michael Joseph Jackson," to whom Murray, 56, allegedly
improperly administered propofol. The coroner's report reflects the
thorough nature of the medical examiner's months-long probe. Along with
describing the scene at the Holmby Hills mansion where Jackson was
stricken, the document lists prescription drugs found in the home (some
were prescribed in Jackson's name as well as an alias used by the
singer) and includes separate radiology, dental, neuropathology, and
anesthesiology consultations. According to a review by Dr. Selma Calmes,
the level of propofol detected in a toxicology screen was "similar to
those found during general anesthesia for major surgery." Jackson was
reportedly using the drug to help him sleep. The document also provides
the detailed results of the performer's autopsy--which included analysis
of Jackson's corpse and his various organs--from the size of his liver
to the "unremarkable" nature of his testes and scrotum. The "immediate
cause" of Jackson's death was listed by the medical examiner as "Acute
propofol intoxication." The report also reveals how, six weeks after
Jackson's death, coroner's officials traveled to Forest Lawn Memorial
Park to take hair samples from Jackson's head "for potential toxicology
testing." In the presence of Jackson's sister La Toya, "samples were
collected by plucking with gloved hands." Jackson, who was viewed in a
"secured lobby," was "supine in a yellow casket with blue lining. The
majority of the decedent was covered with multiple white towels/sheets
leaving only the hands and top of the head exposed." (23 pages of the
report can be viewed at thesmokinggun.com)

That's exactly how people will remember him. It amuses me to see that
every article about the pervert always mentions his boytoys.
It also amuses me to see how little press coverage Murray's arrest is
getting. No one cares about it. <snicker>
What's four years in jail? <shrug>
And I'm not sure it's going to happen. Giving anethestic at home isn't
against the law and all the meds were obtained legally. If the defense can
prove that Wacko was doing some other things <drugs/drink/guzzlin' boy jizz>
without telling the doctor, I'm not sure the doctor is even going to serve a
day.
Wouldn't that be GREAT? Talk about instant Karma. The universe will go back
into balance from that sliding tilt over Wacko's trial.
And one just above his pubic bone with an arrow pointing down that said,
"Duck butter nozzle". Seriously.
