I am in the market after 15 years to pick up playing the piano again now
that I have time on my hands. When I last played I was about Grade 5 level.
I have done some research online but it it so difficult to judge this way
and I am a long way from the city in order to get in to the music shops to
try some out. Also none of these sites will display current pricings.
Looking at some "customer reviews" on websites is suspicious occasionally.
I would be grateful if someone could take the time to proffer their opinions
on the following digitals which appear to fall within my needs & price
bracket - i.e. no more than $2K Canadian.
1. Yamaha YDP 223
2. Yamaha CLP 270 or 280
3. Roland HP-207
4. Kawai CE200
Lastly I saw in Costco a Casio AP80CB being knocked out at $999 + taxes
(with $600 discounted). A very brief tinker with it left me with a good
impression. I was under the impression that Casio was el-cheapo cheap
quality. It also seems to have a lot of features and quite well weighted
keys.
