A position has become vacant for a very experienced and enthusiasist Director of Music to work with and develop the strong brass musicianship of the Stanningtom Brass Band, a first section band. The band located in the North of Sheffield requires someone who is able to inspire and engage with players of a diverse age range. They should demonstrate that they are fun to work with, but not shy of hard work with challenging music. Stannington in the last few years has worked in both theatre and television projects and has accompanied famous soloists in concert. Rehearsals are on both Sunday and Thursday evenings.
