I was there too (in the first row left) and you beat me to posting the
setlist.....the only correction I can make is the song that you have
as Let it Go is actually titled Shadows. Don't feel bad, I have Never
Too Close listed as We Meant No One No Harm on MY list. I KNEW that
wasn't right when I wrote it but I couldn't for the life of me
remember what it actually was.
I thought his voice was quite a bit weaker than when I saw him in
Kansas City a couple months back but I am just so glad he still wants
to get out there and do it.
He got quite a bit of applause when he said they were already planning
for 2008 and I am looking forward to it too!

Thanks, Steve, for the title correction. I was actually blanking on
one or two actual titles as I was scribbling notes in the dark of the
concert hall, so I wrote down snippets of lyrics.. and then had to
verify titles afterwards. Many of us may know all the words by heart,
though not necessarily all the correct song titles ;o)
At first I thought Gord might have had a touch of laryngitis on
Sunday.. but perhaps all it was is that he was nearing the end of a
long, tiring tour and may have needed to rest his voice a bit. But he
looked well from my center balcony vantage point. And I was so glad
that the audience was as loyal and enthused as they were.. many long
time fans were present and that made it even better.
It crossed my mind that evening... that if he'd lost his voice
altogether, he could just whistle or hum those incredible songs and
that his dedicated audience could have filled in on the vocals. Heh.
Funny thing is when I hear him now, I still hear that gorgeous voice
(in my head) as it sounds on those well worn albums of mine. He's a
treasure and I hope that he will continue to tour and bring us joy as
long as he possibly can...
best,
Annie
