Summer.

Just how sunny is it?

I vaguely recall that there used to be a yellow thing in the sky. Can you
see it?

Are the birds singing?

What colour is the rest of the sky surrounding the yellow thing?

Please remind the Northern hemisphere.

Thanks in anticipation

its crazy. melbourne is so unpredictable.

amazingly. today it +34C
but it all depends on your mind and how your heart's feeling, doesnt
it? :)

yeah. still big and still golden.
kind of gives you hope.

> Are the birds singing?

no. too hot.

lightest blue without a cloud to cover it.

jane, want to swap for a while? i have my own little place here (though
the fridge doesnt work despite michaels attempts, thanks mike :) and
the tv reception is not at all so good but it works... you can watch
tv, and step by step, what else do you need to nourish your mind) and
summer is only starting to show itself in all its boiling hot glory.
oh! i just heard a bird sing! just one.

let me know about the swap. its a thought. :)

What a wonderful thought - especially as someone has just given me actual
money to give them 40000 of my finest words. 40K is very easy - except they
have to be in a sensible order. Bugger.

I'm hoping one day that I'll evolve into that monkey who sits at the
keyboard long enough to randomly type out the complete works of
Shakespeare - by accident.

Except I'd need it to be on a different subject - and in relatively modern
English. It doesn't have to rhyme either. It also has to have something to
do with new science. Also, people have to want to buy it - a small but
nevertheless important consideration.

Not much to ask really.

Yes, I'd love to swap - however, I doubt that you'd be hardy enough to cope
with where I live - there's no heating and we can't shut the windows. It's
a big project and the builders are working valiantly. Also, can you put up
with builders cleavage?

I bet you haven't even got any thermal undies - you antipodean chickadee.

my brother just finished his thesis on some weird-arse-green-fuorescent-
genetic-bacteria-goobers (for which he received first class honours,
says the proud older sister), so why dont i just send you that and a
few of my art history essays - mash 'em together a bit and voila! post-
modernism at work - long live appropriation!

youre talking to a chick who used to go to school in -30C through the
snow (obviously). nothing phases me jayne :)

hahahahah.... i live in a land *infested* with shit like that. cant
turn your head anywhere without having some blokes crack in your face.
charming.

I thought you were Aussie born and bred. You'll have to forgive me - lots
of catching up to do. I blame my server actually - I seem to get chunks of
ng and then nothing for a while - I think that I'm missing out on a lot of
messages.

Now, reading between that lines, I imagine that you are from Poland
originally?
I have to go to Poland and quite a lot of other former Eastern block
countries this year, so I'm learning Cyrillic in the hope that it will be
generic enough to get by. A good friend of mine is from Warsaw originally
and she still remembers some of the Russian that she learnt at school - so,
if she remembers enough, its gonna be really easy to learn to swear in
Russian and then just adapt it for the various other countries and hope it
doesn't lose too much in the translation. If you know any swear words
please tell me so that I can act well 'ard and the Mafia won't mess with me!

Saddo confession time - I have a perverse little hobby - I collect languages
and I especially like them if they have a different alphabet. What an
anorak!

If you're serious about coming to the UK, mi casa es su casa. I've got
loads of room and you're more than welcome to stay - if you need a pad in
London. I'm in and out of the country a lot this year and am already
committed to stuff when Montreal is on so will definitely not be able to get
there. So, why don't you come and visit all your English ng mates while
you're in the Northern Hemisphere?

Have a great (sunny) day!:-))

i was very successful at erasing it all out of my memory and system. it
was a deliberate effort and it worked well.
