Edmonton - Anybody going?

and I think it's going to be a desultory affair this year, not that
many signed on and hardly anyone I know which is the point, since I am
going. Is this 'event' losing it's gloss? I think it might be. Or it
might be because of the concerts, people are fed up of seeing each
other all over the place by now maybe.
I'll be at the O2 on Thursday, anybody here going there?

I'm not going to Edmonton because I can't afford to - hope those of you
who go do have a great time though. As to next Thursday, you may

I will be at the Edmonton event. I would bet it's the Cohen tour
taking precedence over the gathering in Edmonton this year for most
folks and not that people are fed up with seeing each other. I'm
looking foward to seeing Kim, Jarkko, Dick, Val and finally....Parky?
after many years. I'll be working the hospitality suite from 7am-11am
almost every day. I get up early and I think the younger folks
working the event were happy to have an old person to cover the suite
since they'll be staying up until 3am! Stop by and say hello Fiona.

Maybe we'll finally get to meet Dar! Was at NYC but missed seeing you
there somehow. Oh, and Parky did say he was going too.
Tim can't get along to the gathering, but might see you at the O2 -
though it's a huge venue so meeting people would be fortuitous I
think!
