This is a subjective and biased list and highly focused on my own
musical likings. You won't see any musicians from 1990s and 2000s. Its
also 50's, 60's, 70's and 80s.

Any poll/list based on the voters' opinion is a subjective and biased
list, by definition
Picking music is crap.
My top 10O versus yours?
No better, no worse.
Just information and how to learn.
We come from different places. Ideas of music.
My top 10 of the decade? Probably not like yours.
Elvis Costello's wife from Canada's top 10 includes Nick Lowe, but I could have
told her that 20 years-ago! But then Diana Krall was a teenager!
And she's met my friends friend, the late Oscar Peterson.
No offense, but these lists stink. Roger Waters top 10 bassists? Nick
Mason? WTF?

GO AWAY.
PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
Unbelievably (but not unexpectedly) uninteresting. I will say that
although I've always dug Chris Squire, my liking of him increased just
yesterday when I learned that he has a solo album called "Swiss
Choir."

Roger Waters is a great bassist. Technically he might not be the best,
but he has made some of the most memorable basslines ever written.
Just listen to Money or Any Colour You Like carefully. Some of the
best bass you might hear. Most of the songs he wrote were bass
dominated just listen to their songs more carefully.
Nick Mason knew precisely what to drum for a song. Thats why he is in
the top 10. Without his drumming, Piper would not be Piper and Dark
Side would not be Dark Side. He knew precisely what TO DO and what NOT
TO DO. Not many drummers know that.
I've listened carefully. He has written many great songs. Has nothing
to do with being a great bass player. The best bass playing on a PF
album was on Animals. Gilmour played almost all the bass on that
album.

Without his money, he wouldn't even have been in PF. His family had
bucks, and he was the financial backbone of the early Floyd. He's
serviceable, for sure, and he's not bad, but he's nowhere near a great
drummer.
I doubt you haven't heard the bass on Piper and Dark Side.

He is the best drummer for Pink Floyd.
You're right. I've been listening to those albums for over 30 years.
Not sure how this helps your argument, though.

Once again, how does this make him a great drummer? Admit your
mistake. He's a decent drummer for a very successful band that you
like, and you put him on your list because you like the songs he
played on.
Argument is I really like the drumming on those albums. If you think
the drumming on those albums is mediocre, I seriously disagree with
you.

Yes, I like the songs courtesy his drumming. I said the list is
subjective ;-)
But everybody HATES you so you lose.
So, Roger Waters played drums on those albums? Or bass? What are you
even arguing here? Do you even know?
We are talking about Nick Mason.
So, no answer?

Here we were. Above we were talking about Roger Waters. See if you can
keep up. I doubt you will.
