I really liked Nina Hagen's vocals on "Witness." It's unlike anything I've
heard a female vocalist do for KMFDM. At one point, she can raise her voice
high, and the next, she almost sounds like a man. I'm very fond of this talent.

Nina Hagen is an excellent vocalist. My suggestion, if you want to check out
some more of her work, is to start with her NUNSEXMONKROCK album. It was put
out around 1982 or 1983, I've got it on vinyl. Its rather hard to get ahold
of, but its a real treat if you do. The music combines punk elements with
electronic and supernatural factors, both musically and lyrically. Nina
Hagen is one of the few punk rock groups that would dare use a Roland TR-808
drum machine! heehee

I think witness is the worst track on the whole album... ther rest kicks
ass... but nina sucks... they should have gotten Abby Travis back on this
album...

Actually NUNSEXMONKROCK is pretty easy to find on CD these days...
That's the one that most stores seem to have in stock most of the time,
aside from the occasional imported goodies.

NUNSEXMONKROCK was my first exposure to Nina Hagen years ago and it
completely scrambled my brain!! Still does, actually.
