Finally someone mentions Triptykon. I am definately looking forward
to that. I guess the Overkill Ironbound has already been leaked, but
isn't officially out until 2010.
Nevermore, Manowar, and Exodus, for sure.

I think it's kind of funny, but I am actually looking more forward
to getting a few more Kansas CD's than anything new at this time.
Excepting Triptykon, of course.

My 70's rewind...

Kansas-st debut 4 listens
Kansas-Masque 2 more listens this week
Kansas-Monolith 2 listens
BoC-St debut 1 listen
BoC-Fire of Unknown Origin (ok 1981 release, but a mostly known for
the 70's band) 4 listens
BoC-ET live (Mostly 70's orignal recorded songs on the 1982 live
album.)

Did I really just type that and post it?

i didn't know about CoF Yay!!!, a new Dimmu Borgir would be nice as
well. i like BG, and will check that out, a few more sound good as
well(Helloween, Gamma Ray Anthrax etc.).

i still haven't heard the last Exodus, i might check out the new one
when released. i don't recall anybody in here liking the last one that
much, i wouldn't expect much better on this one. if i want Exodus,
plenty of old goodies to enjoy.

Of the rest of this list, Triptykon is highest, although Finntroll and
MA are eagerly awaited.

The rest ... meh.

Although I did quite like Vertebrae, I do have to admit that it fell
off the playlist.

Akercocke tops my list, although I hope it's more like Words/Choronzon
and less like Antichrist.

I`ve come round to them, been playing a lot of black metal lately and gave
early Burzum another shot. I`m certainly interested to see what Varg comes
up with nowadays.

I haven't played Akercocke in a while. Vertebrae got a lot of plays.

I just thought the songs were longer and less catchy than SHKM. The
music is very heavy and killer.

Blessed Black Wings and Death is this Communion have earned their way
into my top records of the decade elite group.

Which, considering how much I love Sleep, really shouldn't have been
so much a surprise.

I think the song 'Det Som Engang Var' from 'Hvis Lyset Tar Oss' is one of
the best Black Metal songs ever.
