Hello,
I´ve "known" many of you guys for a very long time 12-14 years or so
(although I´m not a regular poster)
- and my experience tells me that you are all wise guys!
So can anyone of you tell me which application/program to use when
downloading a so called "torrent".
I had Limewire back in the day, but that one closed down a while ago.
Is there a similar program which will open when you click on the
torrent-file and then it starts to download slow or fast depending on
the "seeds" or whatever it´s called. (that´s what Limewire did)
Maybe I sound like an idiot, but I hope you understand the question

Any band I want to hear music by, I just go to You Tube and enter
their name and a song, and go from there. I can't remember the last
time I couldn't actually find a band's music that way and hear what I
needed to make a decision.
Well, there was the Ghost problem, when I tried to find their music
all I was getting was "paranormal activity" type videos. But someone
threw me a link to one of their songs (Ian, probably) and I was in a
music store buying their CD within a few days.

Besides what if the band is new and has nothing really available on YT
or something that isn't their best. Besides most people will not go
out and make a cd purchase just based on one song. You're fighting a
losing battle my friend

I "heard" that Soulseek was good for finding obscure music.

different, so why not use both?
Besides what I惴 looking for is rare and obscure TV shows, full
concerts etc..and you can愒 find that on youtube...
I always buy CD愀 of my favorite bands to support them..but torrents
is a great way to find out if it愀 good or not etc. etc...

So "Bit Torrent" is a program and not just a website?
- I mean do you install it just like one did with "Limewire" etc..?

Surprisingly, though, most bands I've ever heard of, their music
makes it on You Tube. Even some of the obscure stuff TJ, DC, Ian SG,
Bomber and such listen to, I never have a hard time finding. Now, to
find some of the stuff in local stores, that's different.

just pissing in the wind on this. and it's a gale force 10,
