Hi, me again with my project.
I would like to know what people think is the best pic. or painting of Jimi
ever taken, as I'd like a realy good photo for the front page of my program.
I'm thinking something realy electric and emotional or something
phsycadelic. Please send me the pic or the address of the pic.

BTW. dont acuse me of slacking of and taking the easy way by posting on a
newsgroup as I spend lots of time gathering material for my project, I just
thought that people who are bigger fans than I would have seen more pics and
so can make a better choice.

thanx for any help

No need to apologize for asking an opinion. I don't have a scan or an address
for you, but I would suggest a search for the key words "Nona Hatay" will lead
you to what you want. Based on your description (something really electric or
emotional..) Nona Hatay's artwork is where you absolutely want to look. I
personally think she does an excellent job translating Jimi's emotion on paper.

I dont have a scan or URL but on the wall of the "music room" in my home is
Jimi from Monterey, kneeling in front of his burning guitar, encouraging the
flames with his hands and the look on his face is of pure happiness.

I'm sure others have said this before me, but I am too lazy to check:

I'm partital to the one from "live at Fillmore East" where he's holding the
guitar out
straight while he is on his knees, and also the one from monterey where he's
standing over the burning guitar with his arms outstretched. These are both
classic,
"electric" Jimi images.
