Going to Europe in the spring

A while back I mentioned that I might be going abroad for some preformances.
It's becomming more concrete as the planning progresses.
So far I have a tentative departure scheduled for in the spring. I am told
that there is intrest in Italy, Germany and France.
I am waiting on word from two other organizations and would very much like
to do a spot with Radio for Humans. This will all depend upon financing, of
course. From what I am being told there is a grant oppertunity to bring
American musicians to the UK for exhibitions. I'll know more about all of
that once the promotor gets all of the info assemilated.
When I find out which venues I'll be scheduled at I'll let you all know.

My sincere apologies, I WAS being defensive and read into your post that
which was not there.
It is true that the troll has a somewhat very limited entertainent value,
but it's behavior in another group filled with folks who are disabled and
fighting the loss of income AND healthcare is reprehensable.
The level of denile and the depths that this troll will stoop to astonishing
and border line criminal. I am watching the progression of two key
legislative proposals and amassing a huge collection of transgressions which
may be useful in the future for taking the toy/computer and privelege of
using the internet away from an irresponsible and immature malcontent.
Thank you for your words of encouragement as per my musical endeavors. I
find that my shows are fun filled and the audiance responds quite positively
to my preformances. That is what drives me forward.
I hope to use my talent as a means for pressing issues that need
reccogmition in the public eye. Things like Vision impairment and Traumatic
Brain Injury are, still in this modern age, under appreciated by the public.
With so many of our service personel returning home with these sorts of
complications I hope to pave the way and make their return to a more
fullfilling life easier and accessable.
The issue of service animals is also important to me. Most folks now
understand a guide dog but there are many other types of service animals
that the lay man still has no comphrehension about.
As for W. Gary, in the real world, out on the street he fears even a poor
old disabled blind man like me, because he knows the justice which he has
been lucky to evade so far could find him at any moment. And even a brawling
old blind redneck like me only needs one hand wrapped around his scrawny
pencil neck to deliver it.

Maybe, but I'm skeptical. I've seen trolls be tossed from their ISP
only to sign up with another one and be back the next day.
As for the authorities, I think he'd have to get much worse (at least in
terms of what I've seen in this newsgroup and alt.guitar.bass) before
they'd be interested.

Because it's entertaining - relative to the majority of other activity in
here. I'm keeping all my replies in one thread, I'm not starting new topics
on the subject or hijacking anyone else's threads. If we keep him busy in
this thread, he'll leave other peoples' threads alone. But nobody appears to
be making any.
It's not as if this group is overwhelmed with on-topic posts lately. Stu
seems to be the only one still making posts about his music and his plans,
and he's the one who's currently most engaged with this weirdo. Everyone
else seems to have just disappeared over the last couple of months, and I
doubt that it's because I've pointed out a couple of this no-mark's spelling
mistakes. I certainly wouldn't do anything that meant people were
uncomfortable coming here, but I reckon this place got deserted long before

We are only asking you to acknowledge YOUR part, not accept the entire
blame. Newsgroup posts are either signal or noise - there's no
in-between. There's no "it's not my fault" noise. This post is noise.
Rich's posts to you about it are noise. I'm hoping my one post will make
a difference, but I fully acknowledge the chances are slim. You'll
probably respond with more noise (the only *proper* response is none at
all). Some others might respond as well - more noise.

Read my lips: It cannot be done. I have been kicking around the
newsgroups for 15 YEARS. I've seen this play out time and time again. As
participants we have two choices: respond or don't respond. His goal is
to get a response. It doesn't matter *what* it is so long as it is a
response.
There is NOTHING you or anyone else or even EVERYONE else can say that
will make him stop. Period. Your refusal to accept this reality only
makes the situation worse. You see, not only are your responses noise,
but they generate new responses and attacks. It's all just noise.
The sooner you can accept that, the better. The world is full of stuff
we can't prevent no matter what we do. However, there are few things
where we can *reduce* the damage simply by doing nothing. This is one of
those cases.
If I haven't convinced you at this point, I never will, so I'm done. I
hope you don't end up in my kill file because I do appreciate your
signal. However, it's not so valuable that I'm willing to search for it
through all the noise.

Back when I was reading stuff other then audio books, King was a regular. It
started with The Stand.
And yes it's true, that movie came out almost as descriptive and stayed true
to the novel. Too bad that's not always the case.
Christmas day was great! Nice and peaceful in the company of close friends
