Just my voice and guitar:
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=787260&songID=8550207

It's a rough cut at this point. Something to fill my time on New Year's
Eve. I may flesh it out later with bass, drums, etc. or I may just
leave it as it is -- spare.

Comments welcome.

You say your aim is true, I say you've got a pretty good aim too. :)
I'm thinking that the drum part need not be too complicated and that maybe a
fiddle could lend it's voice to the mix.

I guess I should reiterate a bit. I don't mean Dixie Chicken fiddle music,
more like violin (or a couple of them) as if it were singing the melody
line. Also piano and not organ may help to bring the ballad feel to it.

Sure, yeah, I understood about the "fiddle". I can play piano OK but
not the fiddle, any volunteers? I was also thinking about adding a bit
of lap steel guitar (I bought one recently, still learning to play it).
