This product looks to have great use in my life as I need some measure
of portability. Besides my lappy and this Samson mic (and guitar) I
have my studio with me wherever I go. I am already planning some true
outdoors recordings especially to capture some of the earliest
daylight hours.

First recording efforts with Samson G-Track USB condenser studio mic.
input set to inst/mic
direct/monitor set to stereo
guitar plugged in to inst jack.
Acer 5534 lappy / Adobe Audition 3

other levels to taste but for my Yamaha APX700 the eq on it was flat
and the guitar output level at about 9 o'clock.
the inst level on mic was at 10 o'clock mic level on mic was 3
o'clock.
sat about 12 inches away. Sang and played rather softly as I have
close neighbors.
