What I would do is not change it but add DreamTheater to it.

Where the violin is playing, I'd add Petrucci doing hard resemblant
guitar riffs of the same sort as the violin. Portnoy doing a enhancing
but powerful drumming of the exact same melody & beat that has been
created as the music/song is awesome. But DreamTheater would enhance
the intensity of suspense and excitement that has been perfectly
created.

Some say DreamTheater go overboard, depends on what song. With the
makers of this film directing DreamTheater it would be awesome.
Instead of eliminating the violin, have it string forward the guitar
riffs of the same type of rif, so you have the hard soft synergy/union
of emotional provocation.

By no means did the artists that have produced what exists failed,
what they have done is awesome but DT would enhance it more in the
awesomeness it already is.
